Applications are invited for two Lectureships in Mathematical Sciences in the School of Mathematics at Cardiff University. These are full-time, open-ended posts starting 1st January 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Applicants for the posts should have a record of or potential to produce research that reaches the highest standards of excellence in terms of originality, significance and rigour in one or more of the following areas: Data-driven Applied Mathematics, Mathematics of Data Sciences, Operational Research or Statistics. You should have the ability to deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be expected to supervise dissertations for our MSc programmes in Data Science and Analytics: Operational Research and Applied Statistics. You will also be expected to take a full part in the life of the School, including administrative duties.

Candidates must have a PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
These are full-time positions, 35 hours per week and are open-ended.
Salary range: £34,304 - £40,927 per annum (Grade 6)
