We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled web developer. This is the perfect role for a developer who will enhance the University digital experience across web-based services used by our students and staff.
Working alongside talented colleagues, and closely with the Senior Web Developer (VLE) you will be involved in the development, testing and maintenance of University web-based services. The role will work closely alongside other colleagues in the Service Development and TEL (Technology Enhance Learning) teams, where you will develop web applications that will make a positive impact in the way students and staff access information and services.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and an understanding of development approaches and practices. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a wide range of web programming languages including HTML and PHP.
Previous experience of Higher Education is not essential. However, you should be able to demonstrate your capability in developing for the web.
Working styles are flexible, supported by excellent, secure collaboration tools that enable the team to use facilities on the Bognor and Chichester Campuses.
