About UKCISA

UKCISA provides membership services – including advice, training and policy guidance – to nearly 500 members and direct support services to thousands of international students each year. Our diverse membership includes every public university in the UK, many private universities and further education colleges, independent schools and students' unions.

The UKCISA websites are central to UKCISA’s communication strategy. UKCISA is now seeking a Website Project Officer to review our three websites (the UKCISA main website, the online manual and WeAreInternational) to review, align, improve and refresh them.

This two-year fixed-term role will lead the comprehensive review of the websites, focussing on UKCISA’s main site, through to the development and the live delivery of improved websites in order to better meet the needs of international students, UKCISA members, external stakeholders and funders.

This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and the Website Project Officer role complements two additional new roles which will also develop and enhance our communications and policy work.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of leading or working on significant and complex web projects, and a keen interest and up-to-date knowledge of current (and possible future) website platforms and trends. In addition, they will have the ability to effectively communicate ideas and specifications to technical experts while bringing creativity and innovation to the project. They will be highly organised with an ability to manage time, set and meet deadlines for self and others, and work independently, while seeking appropriate guidance and support. They will have strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate work at pace.
