About us: The Faculty of Environment and Technology, in partnership with educational providers across the South West, makes an active contribution to transforming the region and its skilled workforce.

Integral to our success are activities which enhance the student experience through innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies. The successful candidate will contribute to these, supporting our degree apprenticeship programmes pre and post registration.

About you: We are looking to appoint a new member of the team with contemporary experience on Built Environment or Technology or Engineering Standards to organise and undertake tripartite meetings and to provide progress reports in line with university and governmental policies.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have a high level of experience on different aspects of degree apprenticeship both on operation and quality assurance. The knowledge of off-the-job training and funding rules is essential.

Successful candidates will have a high level of insight into degree apprenticeship and ESFA and/or OFSTED requirements.

The post holder will be expected to travel across a wide geographic area in the South West so a current/valid driving licence is essential”

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.

This is a full-time, permanent post working 37 hours per week.

This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time

The University will be implementing a hybrid way of working once restrictions from Covid 19 end therefore you will be expected to work on campus for part of your working week. Exact days will be agreed with your line manager.

The University’s normal practice is that new appointments will be made at the starting point of the grade.

This post requires enhanced DBS clearance, which will be provided by UWE.
