About the role:
You’ll be joining the successful Sport and Exercise Sciences team: home to the top ranked (No 1) Sport and Exercise Sciences courses in the UK (The Guardian University League Tables 2020-21) and the Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences, located in the Faculty of Science and Engineering on our Cambridge campus. We are forward-looking and enthusiastic, with a vision that combines commitment to a strong and active research culture with excellence in learning and teaching. We are seeking an experienced and motivated lecturer to work across the Discipline of Sport and Exercise Science to contribute to teaching and administration across the main pillars or sport and exercise sciences.
You will have PhD or professional doctorate in a relevant discipline, or nearing completion for a Grade 5 appointment, along with current professional/industry qualifications and experience in teaching and learning in higher education. You’ll have a track-record of applied practice and networking in the field along with a commitment to CPD. Successful applicants will be delivering across the teaching and learning portfolio in the broad area of Sport and Exercise Sciences.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the broad range of the School’s teaching portfolio, in particular our campus-based BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science. You will also demonstrate the ability and desire to contribute to the School’s research and associated scholarly & consulting activities.
