About the Role
The Department of Secondary and Further Education is looking to appoint a Reader to provide research leadership and contribute to teaching across programmes in the Department, including MA Education pathways and our suite of undergraduate Education Studies and other programmes leading to Qualified Teacher Status.
Working with the Associate Dean, Head of Department and other senior colleagues, you will decide on the departmental research strategy and direction of research in education. In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of your own research activity and sustaining a leading research programme, making decisions regarding which projects to pursue and when to make funding applications.
