About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and target driven Senior Market Manager to drive and support student recruitment from UK based agents into our Pathways Colleges and University partners across the UK.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will have a strong understanding of international recruitment within the education sector and you will be able to demonstrate an awareness of at least one major overseas market. You will have excellent organisational skills and will be a self-starter with experience of working internationally

key responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the sales and recruitment strategy for the region
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Onshore Market
  • Liaising effectively across the Kaplan internal network, partner universities and with key recruitment agents and educational bodies.
  • Promoting Kaplan Pathways on an on-going basis to generate new leads from our Onshore agents
  • Ensuring all partner agents are given comprehensive training and have full and complete knowledge of all UK partner universities.
  • Driving student recruitment to achieve challenging targets for UK, US and Australia products in line with compliance requirements
  • Delivering outstanding levels of customer service
  • Travelling across your respective regions (UK and MENA) for up to 12 weeks per year
  • Any other activities as determined by the Regional Manager

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of set market targets across products and multiple destinations 
  • Number of successfully on-boarded agents that are sending students to our programmes in the UK
  • Maintenance of high level of service to all stakeholders in the UK
  • Conversion rates from application to enrolment for students coming from all channels

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within the international education sales to the UK universities
  • Proven ability to establish and grow strategic client relationships with clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills, across a wide range of audiences
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility with working hours including working over weekends when required
  • Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively on tight deadlines, under pressure and with competing priorities
  • The ability to identify and manage risk and knowing when to escalate areas of risk where applicable
  • University degree


  • Experience working within the student recruitments from the MENA Region
