About the department

The Directorate is responsible for the delivery of the Estates and Infrastructure Strategy which covers the areas of major construction, refurbishment projects, facilities operation and space management, including timetabling and energy management.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of estates – property service. Work closely with, and regularly collaborate with, peers and senior management team to ensure a fully integrated, seamless approach is achieved and maintained across Campus Services. 

Managing staff, systems and campus services in order to provide value for money, high quality provision and cost effective facilities management for your area of responsibility. 

Be the catalyst in improving service delivery standards for your team and services.

Implementing the SOAS strategy and leadership demonstrating broad, clear and innovative thinking with the objective of delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Manage the operational delivery of the campus services as an integrated soft service.
