We are seeking to appoint a full-time, Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology to cover maternity leave for a year from February 2022. The successful candidate will join a well-established team based in the School of Science, Technology, and Health at York St John University’s 57-acre bespoke sports park. We currently offer a range of BASES endorsed courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate level.
You will hold or be close to completion of a PhD/Doctorate in sport and exercise psychology, and also have teaching experience in both sport and exercise psychology and research methods. Experience of module design, module leadership and research interests that align with the Motivation, Performance, and Well-being research group at York St John would be a distinct advantage.
