We have an exciting opportunity in IT Services for an experienced and talented Vendor Manager with the vision and drive to lead a team of professionals, responsible to control spend and manage suppliers through proactive cost management, continuous improvement and innovation.
This Vendor Manager role is critical in how we manage vendors and assets through commercial arrangements and the contract lifecycle and IT asset lifecycle. You will uphold governance, principle and standards and coordinate all vendor management, contractual, license and procurement activities for IT Services.
Working in partnership with the business and key stakeholders you will enable the development of long-term plans for strategic IT Vendor Management and have experience in driving excellence, reducing risk and cost.
We are looking for the right candidate to have extensive knowledge of contract regulations including UK and EU legislation, software licensing and with an in-depth understanding of contractual arrangements. You will hold a qualification at degree level or Professional Qualification with at least 5 years’ experience in an IT environment. You will possess strong negotiation and influencing skills to determine ways to achieve the most advantageous results.
