The University of Glasgow is seeking a Research Assistant within the Institute of Heath and Wellbeing.
Researchers at the Unit have conducted a wide range of systematic reviews of interventions and of research methods and have made extensive contributions to the methodological literature on evidence synthesis. The postholder will join a core team of evidence synthesis specialists and play a key part in strengthening the Unit’s role and reputation as a centre of excellence in the development and application of systematic review methods.
The Unit hosts the Cardiac Rehabilitation Cochrane Review Centre (www.gla.ac.uk/researchinstitutes/healthwellbeing/research/mrccsosocialandpublichealthsciencesunit/programmes/complexity/crreviews) and the postholder will be expected to support the Cochrane Review Centre Director (Prof Rod Taylor) to coordinate an ongoing portfolio of Cochrane reviews that include new and update reviews.
This post is offered on a full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term basis until 1st February 2024 in first instance.
