The post
The College wishes to recruit a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate or Fellow to participate in research into human embryogenesis.

This University funded post is available immediately until the 31st of August 2024. The successful applicant will undertake a programme of research to understand human embryo development using our recently established human blastoid system (doi:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.stem.2021.04.031).

About you
The successful applicant will be able to develop research objectives, projects and proposals; contribute to the process of securing funds, and make presentations at conferences and other events.

Applicants will possess a relevant PhD (or be nearing completion for candidates applying at Associate level) or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will have research expertise in developmental biology, preferably mammalian embryology, with the technical ability to handle early embryos and experience in confocal imaging. Additional skills in areas such as live cell imaging, microfluidics, genetic manipulation or ‘omics technologies will be an advantage, but training and support are available as required.
