TURIN HUMANITIES PROGRAMME 2022-2024

Political Thought and the Body: Europe and East Asia, ca. 1100-1650

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: February 15, 2022  

Scholars from all over the world holding a doctorate in History or in any discipline in the Humanities are invited to apply to the two-year fellowships for advanced studies on Political Thought and the Body: Europe and East Asia, ca. 1100-1650. 

The Fellowships are sponsored by Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura della Compagnia di San Paolo.

The fellowships aim to allow junior scholars to work on interrelated research projects under the guidance of established senior scholars while residing in Turin (Italy) and to collaborate in the organization of seminars, conferences, exhibitions and summer schools, during which they will be invited to share their research projects with a wider community of academics as well as students and the general public. 

Fellows will receive an overall grant of € 50.000 (before taxes) and free accommodation in Turin for the duration of the fellowship.
The grant will last two years, starting on September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2024. Up to four fellowships will be awarded.
