We have got an exciting opportunity for an Academic Coordinator be part of our team at ECA Online.

ECA Online (EOL) partners with universities to develop and deliver high quality online courses for students in various marketing including, but not limited to: UK, Australia and India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage academic teaching staff for the university partner.
  • Deliver high quality courses and ensure superior student experience.
  • Constantly work towards improving the quality of the course design and delivery and report against a continual improvement plan.
  • Drive hiring decisions and assess teaching cost in order to set the structure for a growth future
  • Provide reporting on progression and pass rates that meet or exceed expectation.
  • Working with the university partner and EOL academics, develop future courses for online delivery
  • Liaise with marketing and management to determine the appropriate future courses
  • Develop a range of free, sample short courses to be used as part of the student recruitment plan.
  • Manage costs associated with course development / digitization as per budget.
  • Develop strong relationships with academics within the partner university
  • Develop strong relationships with compliance and other departments within the partner university
  • Provide feedback and insights to management on the university relationships
  • Provide inputs and recommendations on reporting enhancements
  • Work with the Academic Director to set and report against a set of KPI’s for the university partnership.

As the successful candidate you will ideally have: 

  • Ideally, 5 years + in online education
  • Experience in working with or for universities
  • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail
  • Very good analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual.
