Are you passionate about working towards helping others in what can often be challenging circumstances? This is a newly created position as part of the expansion of the Student Counselling and Mental Health Advice Service. You will play an integral role within the Student Counselling and Mental Health Advice Service providing and developing Mental Health and Wellbeing advice across the College. Providing specialist support to students with moderate to severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties will form a large part of this role. There will also be the opportunity to liaise between mental health services in the community and College support services. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Service they will promote good practice, contribute to psycho-educational workshops and training on matters related to mental health and will initiate and design events promoting the Service and student wellbeing across the College.
