We are seeking an outstanding candidate who will provide significant strategic leadership in aerospace engineering which will positively enhance the profile of the institution. The post holder will be expected to have an excellent international reputation, based on an extensive track record of innovative research which has a major quantifiable influence in their particular subject area. They will work collaboratively with the current team to develop an inclusive environment in which staff and students from diverse backgrounds will thrive and achieve their career aspirations. The post holder will develop our new Aerospace Engineering programme and make a major contribution to the delivery and strategic development of teaching and learning in aerospace and space engineering, contribute at a high level to leadership and management activity and act as a role model in respect of citizenship.
