Newcastle University is seeking a self-starter with experience and/or well-developed scholarship in the area of innovation and entrepreneurial development. You will be an inspiring and practical educator and pedagogical leader who can contribute to innovation in the Faculty’s priority areas (industry and society; bio-systems; future mobility; environmental sustainability and resilience; and future of energy). This teaching-focused role brings opportunities to work with stakeholders to develop an impact agenda that supports entrepreneurship and innovation within our Faculty curricula. You can expect to join a vibrant cross-Faculty team and network delivering entrepreneurial opportunities for students to turn ideas into reality.
It is essential that you have the ability to communicate with and teach diverse communities of learners, are a team player willing and able to contribute flexibly to meet the needs of the role. Critically, you will have a genuine interest in, and valuable previous experience or potential in, developing innovation and entrepreneurial opportunities for students. In summary, the right individual will be expected to draw upon their experience, knowledge and networks to stimulate entrepreneurial activity across the University.
The position is offered on a full-time, open contract basis and we would be happy to discuss arrangements for flexible and/or blended working. Interviews are expected to be held in February/March 2022.
