We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Political Philosophy whose duties will be equally split between the department of Philosophy and the department of European & International Social & Political Studies (EISPS). The two departments are looking for candidates whose research is in political philosophy, broadly construed, including but not limited to (a) history of political philosophy, including non-Western political philosophy; (b) philosophy of international relations, including philosophy of war; (c) political philosophy concerning race, gender, sexuality, and/or disability.
The post is open-ended and full-time, with an ideal start date of September 2022.
A PhD in Philosophy, awarded before the start date as well as evidence of specialism in Political Philosophy.
Clear evidence of excellence in philosophical research, and teaching and supervision experience in a higher education setting.
