The RVC has a unique heritage in the English-speaking world of over two centuries of leadership in veterinary medicine. From campuses in London and Hertfordshire, our innovative thinking inspires world class research and a diverse portfolio of teaching in the veterinary and biological sciences.
Our Registrar is pivotal in providing leadership for the delivery of student administration and support of our academic programmes. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working with other academic and professional services staff across the institution, you will manage a variety of complex functions, ensuring they provide a resilient and responsive service to users.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience, have a strong track record in service delivery and highly effective communication skills. You will need sound experience of using systems and data to improve services and drive decision making.
An empathetic personal style with experience of leading, managing and motivating operational teams in a University environment is essential. You will also be skilled in drafting and reviewing policy and implementing new processes across a diverse operational area.
This is an exciting time for the RVC as we develop our plans to grow our research, teaching and clinical missions from a platform of world-class facilities.
