We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Arts Therapies cluster. The post-holder will integrate person-centred approaches to research within the Play Therapy programme delivered in collaboration with With Kids and contribute to other arts therapies programmes as required. Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified arts therapists or play therapists who possess practice, education and research experience. You will hold a postgraduate degree; have relevant post qualification experience and evidence of active continuing professional development. You will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to display leadership and innovation and you will work effectively with colleagues, learners and networks.
This position of Lecturer in Arts Therapies and Play Therapy requires the successful candidate to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning, teaching, and assessment in the portfolio of arts therapy and play therapy modules, as well as actively engaging in research and scholarly activities. This will involve flexibility to work between the With Kids teaching base in Glasgow and the arts therapies teams in QMU.
