Your focus: As Lecturer, you will be responsible for our students’ progression and academic achievement at level 7. Planning, preparing, teaching and assessing one or more modules including Software Engineering, Databases and Data Analytics, Computer Networks and Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Enterprise Architecture. The teaching would be both online and in the classroom using our innovative delivery methods and cutting edge curriculum. Providing guidance and support to our student ….your knowledge, powering each students potential.

We will also provide training for you to become an End Point Assessor (if you don’t already have experience of end point assessments) for the Degree Apprenticeship programme and if you have more time available, we can allocate you students for Dissertation Supervision also. (Lecturing & Assessing are both a requirement)

Bring your experience: Applicants should have suitable and relative teaching experience and must hold a PhD degree in Computer Science or related subject areas. Candidates who are at final stages of PhD are also encouraged to apply and will be considered for this role. A teaching qualification and HEA membership would be a distinct advantage.
You must also have experience in research, or evidence of the capacity to be research active.

Hands on experience of : Programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, etc. Data Analytics tools, database management systems, Cloud Computing platforms, Cloud Computing platforms, Web Development technologies, Computer Networks and Cyber Security.
