We are seeking an exceptional and strategic leader, aligned to our values to champion, lead and enable the achievement of the university’s strategic plan BU2025, through leadership, development and provision of high-quality marketing, student recruitment, strategic marketing, communication plans and narrative and to lead an award winning Marketing and Communications Service team.
As a member of the University’s Leadership Team, you will participate fully in the management of BU, influencing and contributing to our strategic planning and competitive positioning. You will provide senior level, expert and influential marketing, communication and public relations advice across the University, including up to and at Board level. Through effective brand management you will build and enhance the University’s profile and reputation and shape and deliver our strategic marketing and communication approach to achieve student recruitment and engagement targets.
You will possess substantial relevant experience at a senior level and a strong marketing and communications background in a medium/large organisation. You will be able to evidence a proven track record in developing, articulating and delivering marketing and communication strategies which have had a positive impact and of inspiring, developing and motivating a diverse team. In addition, you will have experience of change management, be an innovative thinker, good communicator and motivated to succeed.
