Senior Lecturer in Academic Development (2 posts)

Salary: The starting salary will be from £42,149 up to £50,296 per annum in Grade 8, depending on qualifications and experience
We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing candidates to support the development of our academic staff in relation to learning and teaching. You will be based in the University’s new Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and you will play a key role in the cross-institutional implementation of our learning and teaching strategy and support enhancements in learning and teaching practice. As well as working with staff at our LTU campus, you will also play a crucial role in supporting academic practice development across our UK partner organisations, including delivery of workshops linked to our PGCHE and HEA Fellowships.
These posts highlight our significant ambitions to develop and enhance our learning and teaching practice and work towards achieving the highest level of award in the Teaching Excellence Framework. In particular, we are looking to build on our experience of blended delivery over the last year and develop this approach to enrich our academic offer.
We are looking for candidates who are up to speed with the latest sector thinking around all aspects of pedagogy and teaching practice, who are innovative and progressive in digital pedagogies and who have the experience to lead and develop pedagogical research projects.
The roles will involve travel across the UK (subject to Government guidelines) and applicants must hold HEA Fellowship.
