This post offers an opportunity to join the Initial Teacher Education subject community in the School of Education and Humanities at the University of Gloucestershire. We are a dedicated team, committed to providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities for all our intending teachers. We would like to recruit a new colleague to increase our teaching and research capacity in the primary age phase. You must have Qualified Teacher Status and knowledge across the broad area of Early Years to Key Stage 2 would be welcome. Previous experience in the core and foundation primary subjects is expected though you will specialise in one or two curriculum areas. You will lead and contribute to a range of modules offered at undergraduate and postgraduate level and support trainees on a diverse range of practical teaching placements. You will be committed to excellent safeguarding practice and will aspire to make a positive difference in the lives of our trainees, school-based colleagues, children and families.
