We are seeking an MSc Programme Co-Director – Curriculum and Education to join the MSc leadership team for the new Genomic Medicine course with responsibility for leading curriculum development, delivery methods and evaluation.

You will play a key role in the design and development of the curriculum, and oversee student assessments and examinations. You will play an active role in course set up in preparation for the course starting in October 2022 in conjunction with other members of the team. It is expected the course will evolve over time with developments in the field, and you will be expected to lead on reflecting this in the curriculum with feedback from stakeholders and students.

It is essential that you are educated to degree level, with a formal qualification or other recognised training in postgraduate education. You will have high-level experience of postgraduate education and training with a successful track record of working in Higher Education and promoting the enhancement of academic practice. You will require the ability to provide expert advice and leadership as part of the course strategic team, chairing and taking an active role in relevant committees to support the strategic vision and objectives of the course. Both the ability to work independently to achieve agreed goals and lead on course evaluation and to establish effective working relationships and contribute to successful collaborations.
