The Opportunity:

The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a Research Associate in Single-photon Sensor Technology for Neural Imaging. This Research Associate position will contribute to the project Miniature microscopes for ultra-high frame rate neural imaging within the Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems (IMNS) at the University of Edinburgh. The project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is a collaboration with academic partners at the Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences (CDBS), University of Edinburgh, and ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

This role is available on a fixed term basis for up to 36 months.

This work will be done in collaboration with the labs of Dr Srinjoy MitraProf Robert HendersonProf Matthew Nolan and Prof Ian Duguid in Edinburgh, UK, and Prof Benjamin Grewe’s lab at the Institute of Neuroinformatics in Zurich, Switzerland.
