These posts are based at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at the Leahurst Campus near Neston, Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team in our busy state-of-the-art-hospital. You will be part of the nursing team, and will be responsible for providing nursing support for all clinical services, specialising in surgical and medical nursing, with a proven interest in anaesthesia. You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience, and excellent nursing and interpersonal skills. The Shift Nurse will be required to work a pattern of 3 days on duty (11 hours; 12 hours with a break) followed by 6 days off duty continuously, including weekends, Bank Holidays and University closed days. The salary is pro rata, plus holiday allowance. To ensure consistent cover, you will be required to cover the absences of other shift nurses: flexibility is expected.
