The University of Liverpool is seeking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher to work on beam dynamics for particle accelerators for cultural heritage applications. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in accelerator physics, working with an international team of collaborators, and applying your beam dynamics skills to an interesting application. Your work will include simulation studies, and hopefully some experimental studies, at the Cockcroft Institute and international research facilities.
You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline and an excellent background in beam dynamics, demonstrated through a strong publication track record.
The post is available on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2024.
The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
