This appointment is for a fixed-term (12 months) full time (35 hours per week) role but with the possibility of an extension.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Heriot-Watt Programme Manager team. This role will oversee three exciting projects: the UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Node on Trust, a project investigating how humans and robots can interact to form trusting relationships; the EPSRC Prosperity Partnership between Heriot-Watt and SeeByte investigating Human-Machine teaming for the maritime domain; and the EPSRC Programme Grant ‘New Directions in Molecular Scattering: Multiple Pathways and Products’.
Detailed Description
The role of the Project Manager is to support the smooth running of these three projects, including financial management and risk monitoring. The role holder will directly support the Project PIs (Prof. Helen Hastie and Prof. Ken McKendrick) in monitoring, managing and delivering a range of core activities central to the success of the projects. This will involve liaising with our project academic collaborators and the relevant administrators across the UK, as well as industry project partners, EPSRC Portfolio managers, and External Advisory Board members.
The successful applicant will be based in the both the Schools of Mathematical and Computer Sciences and of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Essential Criteria
The successful candidate should be educated to honours degree level or have equivalent experience. They should have experience of project management in a busy team environment and eExperience of building and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and audiences.
