TUTOR IN ARCHITECTURE & URBANISM - THEORY (2 ROLES)
Joining the Manchester School of Architecture as a Tutor you will be responsible for teaching theory on our MA Architecture & Urbanism programme.
The role entails guiding students through the broader context of urbanism including urban design theory, urban history, planning law, financial feasibility and development briefing. This includes leading a group of students through theory and case study seminars, supervising dissertations, contributing research methods lectures and supporting specialist workshops. Administrative work will be required to manage aspects such as student attendance, feedback and assessment.
The postholder must possess good leadership, organisation and communication skills, and be able to co-operate effectively as part of a large course team. Research interests and/or experience will be an advantage.
