About the Role

The School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Laboratories Assistant to join the existing teaching labs team to provide support for the setting up and preparation of experiments undertaken in the teaching laboratories contributing to delivery of an excellent (and safe) student experience wherever lab-based teaching is undertaken.

About You

You will have academic/vocational qualifications such as GCSE, NVQ, City & Guilds preferably in a STEM field or equivalent experience. You should have front line customer service experience and experience of working to Standard Operations Procedures. Experience of supporting practical teaching in a laboratory-based environment would be an advantage.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of August 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 2, in the range of £22,781 - £24,940 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
