We have a great opportunity based at our National Centre for Motorsport Engineering at the University of Bolton for a Technician / Demonstrator in Composite Manufacturing.
As a Technician / Demonstrator in Composite Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
A key aspect will be the ability to manage a student motorsport racing car build including multiple composite structures and supporting aerospace students understand the manufacturing process in aerospace production.
Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in the automotive, aerospace or motorsport industry and be experienced in a variety of manufacturing methods such as resin infusion, resin transfer molding and composite tooling manufacturing alongside the layup and cure of pre-preg materials.
Degree and postgraduate qualifications are relevant but industrial experience and an interest to further study at the university alongside your role is acceptable.
