Harper Adams University seeks a highly motivated veterinary physiotherapist with primary interest in canine physiotherapy practice to join the established veterinary physiotherapy team. This is a part time post with the main working days being Monday and Thursday with remaining hours to be discussed at interview as to how these will be worked.
The appointee will have specific roles in the delivery of the veterinary physiotherapy programme area, focusing predominately on canine clinical physiotherapy, but ability to deliver on equine practice if required also. The suitable candidate will have a leading role in the organization and operation of the canine clinics to treat animals and teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the clinical setting. There may be an occasional need to work at weekends to cover teaching, assessment and university open day commitments.
It is essential the successful candidate holds an undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification in Veterinary Physiotherapy and that they have high-level clinical physiotherapy skills. It is essential that the successful candidate can work within in a team and also has a high level of interpersonal skills.
