You will join an ambitious forward-thinking and highly successful development department and will be responsible for developing and implementing a regular giving strategy to develop income from over 11,000 Alumni at the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS).
You will be a part of the incredibly successful Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations department which is the fundraising and alumni engagement arm of the University. The department has raised £2billion worth of philanthropy through its highly successful Dear World, Yours Cambridge campaign, the most amount of any University in the UK, and employs some of the world's most professional and successful fundraisers.
The Development Associate role sits with the Schools and Institutions team at the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations department and will report into the Senior Associate Director of CJBS and have a dotted reporting line to the Head of Alumni Relations.
The Development Associate is responsible for the delivery of Cambridge Judge Business School's alumni giving programme.
The role holder will develop and manage the alumni giving programme for CJBS and will raise financial support for CJBS fundraising priorities, including posts, student support, support for CJBS Centres' research programmes, and capital priorities.
Largely based at CJBS the role holder will be expected to attend regular meetings at the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations Office and with academics at CJBS and the External Engagement Team. International travel will be required.
This is a fixed-term role for 12 months to cover maternity leave, or the return of the post holder, whichever is earlier.

This role is based in central Cambridge, however we practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
