Applications are invited for Guaranteed Hours (GH) contracts for tutors in MA/MLA Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art.

This is an opportunity to join an internationally renowned school of landscape architecture, which places value on design education through fieldwork, site based design, contemporary theory and technical skills that comprise the competencies for students to become professional landscape architects.

GH tutors play an important role through direct engagement with students, while collaborating with permanent teaching staff to deliver innovative forms of learning and teaching. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to a range of teaching on both our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• A degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely allied professional field
• Experience in design process relative to either of the areas of teaching outlined
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Sufficient knowledge of the discipline/topics under discussion.
• Understanding of the basic principles of teaching, learning and assessment.
