This is a fixed-term contract available to March 2025.
We are recruiting an experienced major gifts fundraiser to secure philanthropic support for the Life & Mind Building, which will promote collaboration to address global challenges, and transform the relationship between the biological and psychological sciences. It will facilitate new and impactful teaching and research, and formulate public policies and private practices that will improve our natural environment.
As part of the MPLS Development Team, you will develop and implement strategy to secure funding for graduate scholarships, academic posts and research programmes. You will work with senior colleagues across the University, and be able to coordinate academic stakeholders around a shared vision and case for support.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and creative development professional, with a track record of securing major gifts and a positive approach to ambitious income targets. This is a proactive and reactive role, requiring tact, sensitivity, initiative and determination.
This could be a career development opportunity for a fundraiser keen to take on a senior role, with significant autonomy, whilst benefitting from the support of an established team.
Only applications received before 12.00 noon on Wednesday 6 July 2022 can be considered. You will be required to upload a letter of application as part of your online application. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on Monday 18 July 2022.
