We are looking for a part time General Operations Assistant (Domestic) to work 15 hours per week on a permanent basis.

- THE ROLE -

The post holder will be expected to deliver a professional cleaning service to all functions within the Operational Estates & Facilities Department.

The Operational Estates & Facilities Dept is responsible for providing an excellent service in maintenance, grounds, cleaning, catering and conferencing, accommodation and reception services. The post holder will be expected to support these areas as required with efficient skills.

- REQUIREMENTS -

You should have:

  • Previous cleaning or domestic experience in a work based setting
  • Excellent customer service skills with previous experience of interacting with customers in a front facing service environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and follow instructions, understanding the use of an established practice, procedure or techniques
  • Be strongly self-motivated and proactive in identifying cleaning requirements
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual, as part of a team and in partnership with others
  • Ability and preparedness to work flexibly, which may include Saturdays, Sundays, bank holidays and out of normal office hours when required, on a rota system
