THE ROLE
Ulster University is seeking a Research Associate to play a key role in the Arts and Humanities Research Council funded project Bordered Youth: Analysing Citizenship and Identities in Post-Brexit Northern Ireland.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a researcher to work with a team of investigators exploring the future of the Irish Border as envisaged by young people living alongside it. The post-holder will be required to liaise and work with a diverse range of stakeholders involved in youth work and related sectors within Northern Ireland. They will play an important role in supporting the research team to draft, publish and disseminate the findings and recommendations of the research in both academic and non-academic outlets. They will also be involved in the organisation of outreach and impact events.
The post-holder will have experience of working with young people (aged 16 to 24) in either a professional or voluntary basis. The Research Associate will play a full part in the academic life of the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences with opportunities for professional development through publication and other activities.
