UWE Bristol Law School is a leading provider of legal education offering the full suite of academic and professional law courses. Based in the Faculty of Business and Law on Frenchay campus, the Law School offers the best possible environment in which to study and work. The Law School offers state of the art facilities, including two mock courtrooms, modern Harvard lecture theatres and teaching spaces, a Legal Resource Room, and a dedicated Business and Law Clinic. We are looking for an ambitious, innovative, inclusive and collaborative Programme Leader to join our Law School at UWE Bristol and lead our growing Business and Law programme. It is an exciting time to join UWE, Bristol Law School as we develop our curriculum to complement the university’s ambitious Strategy 2030. Working in the Law School, comprising of academic (LLB/LLM/PGT) and professional (GDL/BTC/LPC/STC) programmes, this post is a permanent appointment teaching and supporting students on the undergraduate Law Programmes.

It is expected that the successful candidate will have programme leadership experience, as well as a good understanding of university level curriculum review and enhancement activities to lead the LLB Business and Law programme through a strategic subject review activity.

You will perform a visible leadership role in relation to the teaching team, as well as teaching on the undergraduate law portfolio.  We would particularly welcome applicants who have business and enterprising skills and are passionate and have an inclusive, collaborate teaching and learning approach in order to engage, motivate and inspire our diverse cohort of students to achieve their potential.
