The Department of Chemistry and Forensics invites applications for a fixed term Senior Lecturer in Organic Chemistry, to teach and support a range of accredited chemistry courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have a proactive and enthusiastic approach to education with an ability to support existing delivery whilst developing evidence based and engaging teaching practice across our suite of courses. You will contribute to the development, assessment, and management of academic courses within the inorganic chemistry subject area and be expected to contribute more broadly to teaching within the department.
The success of our courses is linked to our continual development of learning experiences through laboratory/workshop/seminar/research project delivery to support student progression and attainment. In addition, our undergraduate and postgraduate suite of courses are accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)
