We are seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer to work as part of a team responsible for the University’s Corporate and eLearning systems (CELS) within IT Services. The post holder will lead on the introduction, development and maintenance of designated corporate systems, web services, database services and systems integrations projects.  CELS predominantly supports student records, student recruitment, academic support, employee and financial information systems.   

Working closely with Business owners across the University, you will provide expert support and lead on developments for one or more key corporate systems as designated by the Head of Corporate and eLearning Systems. You will be customer focused, have excellent attention to detail, possess excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively within and across teams.  

You will have experience of developing and supporting applications within a systems team.  Ideally you will have experience of providing expert technical support for one or more corporate systems within an HE environment such as SITS, Syllabus +, UBW/Unit4ERP or Kinetics. 

The post-holder will also contribute to achieving the University’s strategic objectives in terms of maintaining integrity of data, providing a good customer service to students and staff and the delivery of timely and robust management information as required.
