The Division of Marketing at Brunel Business School is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer to support existing and new programmes as well as advance understanding in key areas of Marketing such as digital marketing, service marketing, corporate and product branding, sustainability, and business to business marketing.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Marketing and Corporate Brand Management Research Group who can make a significant contribution to our research, teaching and learning strategy. The Marketing and Corporate Brand Management Research Group has an excellent international reputation. Members have published widely in leading 4 and 3-star marketing and management journals, and have recently attracted major research grants from funding bodies such as the British Academy, The Leverhulme Trust, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and the British Council. The group is renowned for its leading research and social impact role in corporate brand management, acculturation and consumer behaviour.
Applicants must have experience of delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Marketing. There is a strong culture of research and collaboration within the Department. Therefore, applicants will require a publication record in top-tier journals to be successful, while a record of income generation is desirable. Experience of teaching and research in either digital marketing service marketing and corporate brand management is desirable for this role.
The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in at least one of the College research centres, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability and Global Lives, or a University Research Institute.
Teaching duties will include contributing effectively to the BSc and MSc programmes in Marketing which are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), as well as to the MBA, and PhD programmes as required. In addition, applicants should have experience in programme management and development, quality assurance and compliance processes.
