Faculty / Directorate

Our rapidly growing academic community delivers an outstanding learning experience to students and has an active research community. The marketing academic teaching team currently consists of 33 full-time members of staff and offers a range of courses that are focused on embedding key theoretical principles, the latest industry practice, and offering our students a global perspective that will enhance their employability potential.

Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Marketing (with specific focus on Retail, Advertising and Marketing Communications). We are particularly looking for passionate candidates who can teach subjects relating to Retail Marketing, Principles of Marketing. Advertising and Marketing Communications. The position offers teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables an ambitious candidate a key role in framing the Marketing subject areas’ ambition for curriculum development and research/practitioner informed teaching. The role is focused on teaching, project supervision and related administrative duties, and we are interested in applicants from candidates with contemporary industry and academic practice experience.

Ideal Candidate

You must have a track record of teaching in Marketing subjects in Higher Education or a relevant professional context and be able to demonstrate the skills and experience to design and deliver effective and engaging teaching and learning experiences.

You should be innovative in your approach to teaching and be able to demonstrate experience of engaging students in seminars and maintaining a high level of interest and attendance.
