This role is available on a full time or part time basis at Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) or Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) level depending on experience, on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2023.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
You will support Skyline, a large-scale multi-national clinical trial that will be recruiting healthy older adults in Exeter and will test a new medication in participants who are at risk for or at the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
You will be responsible for interviewing and completing detailed cognitive assessments and rating scales with research participants and their informants/caregivers. You will administer semi-structured tests or rater scales as per protocol, including but not limited to CDR, MMSE, RBANS, CSSRS. Candidates will need excellent communication and organisational skills and will be expected to conduct interviews with the study participants and their study partner/ informant following study specific protocols and guidelines.
Experience of administering structured cognitive scales and functional assessments in clinical or research settings is desirable
For GRA level you will required to be educated to first degree level.
For PDRA level a PhD (or nearing completion)or equivalent qualification.
