Apprenticeship Details:
The successful candidate will be supported to achieve a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship.
Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Technology Apprentice (IT) to work within the busy IT Team at University College Birmingham.
With a keen interest in IT and the confidence to take a proactive approach in this customer-facing role, you will provide first line support to staff and students in relation to a variety of IT issues; both on campus and for those working remotely.
You will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of IT skills and experience over the course of the programme within a busy IT Department.
Alongside gaining valuable work experience, you will be supported to achieve a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship (via the Digital Service Technician option).
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive and hardworking approach, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. An interest in emerging technologies is essential.
