As a key part of the Innovate UK EDGE team, the Global Competition & Partnership Executive will have a leading role in delivering Innovate UK EDGE Global Competition and Partnership initiatives.
Innovate UK EDGE Global comprises four key areas: Global Insights, Global Growth, Global Collaboration and Global Inward Investment. The successful candidate for this post has an essential technical and operational function in the design, development, promotion and implementation of such activities.
Innovate UK EDGE is a key part of the UK innovation agency’s deep investment in the pioneering businesses that drive economic growth. As part of a nationwide consortium of Growth Partners, Coventry University is host to a regionally-based team of Innovation & growth and internationalisation specialists whom you will join in offering impactful services to leading-edge businesses across the Midlands.
The Role
The Innovate UK Global Competition & Partnership Executive will work closely with team members, Innovate UK technology specialists, Global Partnership Managers and other Innovate UK EDGE consortium partners to launch and operate flagship national programmes designed to harness UK competitive advantage at a global level. The role includes programme development, delivery of technical content, managing events and logistics, client management, stakeholder management and developing close working relations with global stakeholders.
