Job Summary
Applications are invited for a Research Assistant/Associate position within the Theoretical Physics Group of the Department of Physics at Imperial College London. You will work with Professor Andrew J. Tolley and will also interact with other members of the Theory Group.
Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to independent and original research, submit publications to refereed journals and assist with the administration of the Research Group and provide support to the research students. This project will involve a high degree of teamwork, technical skills and interdisciplinary research.
For Research Assistant post, the post holder will be about to complete a PhD and for the Research Associate post you will already have a PhD in Theoretical Physics or an equivalent level of professional qualifications and experience.

*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range £38,194- £41,388 per annum.
