PhD Scholarships: History, Classics and Archaeology, the University of Edinburgh
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology is delighted to announce applications are now open for our School Doctoral Scholarship for programmes starting in September 2023.
Applications are welcome from students applying to study on any of our PhD programmes: Archaeology, Classics, History, Economic and Social History, and Scottish History.
The award provides full-time tuition fees at the UK rate with an annual stipend at the equivalent rate to that offered by the Research Councils of the United Kingdom (value to be arranged, but for guidance, in 2022-2023 this was £17,668, pro-rata for part-time students).

Applicants must submit a PhD application by 23:59 on 18 January 2023, and a scholarship application for the School Doctoral Scholarship by 23:59 on 2 February 2023.
