We seek applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Institute for Astronomy (IfA) at the University of Edinburgh, working with Profs. Ross McLure and James Dunlop to carry out research into galaxy evolution.
The research goal of this position is to advance our understanding of galaxy evolution in general, with a particular focus on studying galaxy evolution at high redshift.
The successful candidate will work together with Prof. McLure and Prof. Dunlop on a variety of projects in this area, depending on their experience and research interests.
They will have the opportunity to engage in research that exploits the JWST PRIMER treasury programme, the MOONS MOONRISE survey and the ULTRAVISTA survey, as well as to lead further independent research projects. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with experience in the design, implementation and analysis of ALMA observations.
