In 2019 the University won the Times Higher Education, outstanding contribution to the local community award and the Green Gown Award for Sustainability Institution of the Year Award.  It was one of only six shortlisted institutions in the Times Higher Education Awards in each of five categories, including outstanding support for students and University of the Year.   In the 2018 Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) the University of Worcester was rated Silver and is pursuing Gold for the next assessment. In the Research Excellence Assessment, 2014 (REF) the University of Worcester was among the most improved Universities for research in the UK.   It is rated in the top 10% in the UK for postgraduate student satisfaction and 4th for postgraduate employability. 86% of our final year undergraduate students said they were ‘satisfied overall,’ based on National Student Survey results, which places us in the top 25% of UK Universities. We need colleagues who can engage with students and deliver teaching to enable graduate work-readiness. You will need to hold a masters level qualification (or equivalent professional qualification) and contemporary knowledge in a related subject.

On your application, please state which subject area(s) you wish to be considered for and whether you wish to be considered for supervision work as well as class room based teaching.

NB Existing colleagues - if you are already an associate member of staff with Worcester Business School you will continue to remain in the Associate Staff Pool and therefore will not need to submit an application.

For an informal discussion regarding the post, please contact the appropriate Head of Department at Worcester Business School:
